Rec Director The Recreational Director is responsible for organizing all facets of the MSC Recreational Program. The Recreational Director is obligated to establish league coordinators who will maintain and update official rosters, assemble and, in coordination with the Training Director, train coaching staff, and ensure compliance with each league’s rules and regulations. The Recreational Director is responsible for general communications related to the MSC Recreational Program. The Recreation Director, in coordination with the Secretary, is responsible for public relations including notices in local papers, as well as communicating with the various league managers to publish game stories and all relevant newsworthy information to the players, parents, newspapers, etc
Open Coordinator Positions : U4, U8, U10 and U15.
Coordinator positions distributes players onto teams, creates team rosters, email rosters to coaches, answers parent/coach questions, and elevates any complaints to the Rec. Director. This position’s workload is about 20 hours per season and is handled remotely, mainly by email, and requires a reliable internet connection to access the programs. There is a face to face meeting with the age group’s coaches as well as an hour or two for initial training with the Director depending on the volunteer’s technical competencies.

The coordinator responsibilities include:
1.Assist the Travel Director with the planning and execution of tryouts
2.Assist the Travel Director with the coach selection process for teams
3.Oversee the formation of teams and roster management
4.Coordinate all internal MYA Soccer commnuications with teams
5.Coordinate and facilitate team participation in tournaments
6.Support coaches and teams as needed throughout the season

The Merrimack soccer program provides an opportunity for Merrimack youth, ages 3 to 18, to play recreational and competitive soccer in an environment designed to promote learning, teamwork, fun and the joy of soccer.
Merrimack Soccer Club (MSC) is a non-profit organization focused on player development through professional soccer training in a safe, healthy and affordable soccer program that is fun and rewarding for all. MSC objectives are to teach and train soccer players and coaches, develop leadership qualities and to promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches and parents. MSC will provide children with the opportunity to participate in soccer experiences where they can develop teamwork and sportsmanship, confidence, respect, fair play and their own development for future advancement in the game of soccer.
The recreational program is a fall and spring season activity. The fall program runs from September through early November. The spring program starts in mid April and runs through June. We offer coed divisions in the U4, U6, U8, U10, U13, U16 and U19 age groups in both spring and fall.
Merrimack Soccer Club (Competitive) Program
The Merrimack Soccer Club is a fall and spring season activity. The MSC teams compete with nearby towns, private-clubs and regional teams within the New Hampshire Soccer League as well as selected jamborees and tournaments throughout the Fall and Spring seasons. The program is organized into boys and girls (and sometimes coed) divisions based on age group: U8 through U18
Photo & Video Policy: The Merrimack Youth Association (MYA) Soccer Club reserves the right to photograph and record facility, activity and program participants, at any and all MYA Soccer Club events, such as but not limited to training, practices, games and tournaments for potential future use. All photographs and videos will remain the property of the MYA Soccer Club and may be used in future program flyers, news releases, social media and website materials, for promotional purposes or in recognition of program sponsored events. If you do not wish to have your child's picture taken, please notify any member of the MYA Soccer Club's Executive Board Members prior to the event, program or activity.
