What is the cut-off date in determining the appropriate division for my child?

PDF Print

The registration system will only allow you to register your child for an age-appropriate league. You can use the League Finder application on the right of this page to determine the proper league to register a player.

If you're curious about how the dates are calculated, here are some details:

The cut-off date for all leagues is July 31st of the registration year. The registration year is fall/spring, so spring registration is determined by the age of the player on July 31st of the previous year.

Examples:

  • If a child is 11 years old on July 31, he or she cannot play in a CU11 league, but must play in the next higher age group (CU12 or CU13, depending on which leagues are offered that season).
  • For fall 2008, the eligibility is calculated based on the age of the player as of July 31st 2008.
  • For spring 2009, the eligibility is calculated based on the age of the player as of July 31st 2008

The actual registration date ranges for the upcoming season are listed in the online system at http://myasoccer.org/register, please visit this page for more information.
