Yes, the MYA soccer registration fee allows the player to participate in both leagues - assuming the player is selected for an MYA Travel team.  In other words, when you are signed to an MYA travel team, you can also play in the rec league for no additional charge.

Travel players are not placed on rec teams by default. You need to send an email to the rec director ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) requesting your son/daughter be placed on a rec team before the start of the season. Note that some travel coaches prefer their players don't  play rec as well because it can be tiring to play in two leagues and can cause game and practice scheduling conflicts. Please check with your travel coach  before registering a player for both.
